Ludbreg Open University's Elementary music school was founded in 1976. Today, 50 of it's students are learning about istruments such as: piano, accordion, flute, clarinet, trumpet, guitar, tambura (group of traditional Croatian string instruments).
In 2005, a set of instruments for a tambura orchestra was provided, enabling the inclusion of tambura instruments in the Elementary music school's curricula.
Also, formation of a tambura orchestra would further improve the cultural image of Ludbreg. This programme is still in it's initial phase, and we shall welcome all those interested in playing any of tambura instruments.
